Hello 2010!

The first person I saw in 2010 was Jonghyun which I then commented to my mum who was watching the KBS Song Festival on Ch173 this morning "V Handsome!" And my mum went "NO La! Eeee you like this type of ahbeng?" She then proceeded to mention that Minho "the guy from the show where they run through the obstacles" was more handsome. Sigh. And she laughed at 2pm's tiny ponytails. Well, at least its a step for mum to move from Hollywood to Kpop! Mum loves Seunggi, apparently he has a very nice voice.

Im gna go watch 1D2N. More Seunggi! I dont mind marrying him. Bye!

pre 2010

It's 2 hours away from the New Year. Happy 2010 guys!

I'll do up a post on 2009 probably tomorrow or something, am feeling a little bit lazy right now. All the programs on tv are just too boring, Godzilla for 3 hours? Seriously! My parents are out having dinner/partying with friends/counting down and the three of us, united as we are, are home, lazing around. Mummy bought roast duck and roast pork (always a delightful treat!) as add ons for dinner, and we've prepared nachos and cheese dip, Yakult, Tim Tams, mac and cheese and a little bit of alcohol for later.

Yesterday was the last clubbing session for this decade, omg it hit me hard that we're rounding up a decade (10 years, imagine that!) Everytime Christmas comes around, New Years comes after like whoosh. The music was a little slow at times, but overall, different combination, different company but still a great time spent at Butter. The after bits spent at Macs was therapeutic, to say the least, special shoutout to Nic Chan, Aud, Josh and Emman ;)

You guys are awesome! ;)

And yes, I've stopped counting down to the day I leave for Austin. I think it's getting too close that my selective memory refuses to remember. I really need need need to start packing and plan my timetable. No more lazin! Busy weekend ahead, mostly with the church people!

TSP

A -13 night.

I'm surprised at how fast time flies. I'm going home today, I was flying here yesterday. My flight is in 5 hours but I'm leaving the apartment in an hour's time (lol we made a mistake but hey, better early than late). I bet I'm going home to a lot of nagging and screaming in the house in about 16 hours or so fml. I am going home to a very packed schedule also. A wedding to attend on the 2nd, people to meet on the 4th. I'm excited. Yet I know if I am not at home, my mother will yell at me. Oh wait, old news lol.

Also, I lost my purse today. I am very sad about it. :(

the journey doesn't stop here

I PASSED!
(to make things better, it was either a pass or a distinction, none of the merit band)
And am finally a speech and drama diploma holder!
Ms Gracey's call this afternoon was the best thing that happened today!
All the Tuesday evenings spent practising (trust me it was extremely tiring) have paid off, thank God! <3

i feel it in my fingers, i feel it in my toes

i would've waited till after my french chocolate date with the berkeley gang to update but i figured that i might as well do it now since i didn't bring my DSLR out and since i'll probably be too worried about results all day tomorrow :O

anyhow cheers to my wonderful weekend. i'm kinda sad it has ended but oh well, there's still new year so i'll be sad next week!

caution: to sum up my christmas weekend, i had a lot of good food. so, do not read this if you're hungry :P tiff has seen all my food pics and ran down to get food to eat each time HAHAHAHA.

( christmas is all around me, and so the feeling grows )

also, dh and i will be doing eastern europe from 23rd apr - 17th may! :):) like i said, i only truly care about visiting greece hehe.

it's 11am now. i spent 2 hours on this long long entry. wish me luck for results tomorrow because i've never been so scared of not passing my subjects.

There was bbq with cheryl + bf, jac, phoebe, doreen, jiayu, david, elaine + bf, weeting, jane and chia eunice, who has a wonderful car and ferried jac, jane, jiayu, david and me home! :D Eunice rocks!

You woman, thank you for always being there for me :) You know I love you so, for tolerating my omg-chick-flick-romantic-that's-so-deb moments or even when I cry on the phone and I know its really hard to deal with a crying person cos it leaves you helpless. Or my french fries moments and your "deb can we get something to eat" and I give you the -.- "so fast?? but let's go!" look. Or even when we crush on guys and we spend hours analysing it over the phone. You're truly a sister in disguise, and a best friend at that. I treasure and hold you dearly to my heart, and will miss you dearly when in Texas. May our friendship huat to the highest level!!
And please find a bf soon, but don't throw me aside, muacks thanks. I just realised we've been talking on the phone on our birthdays this year, which is a very good memory to keep.

the best christmas present: takashimaya vouchers from my parents. YAY SHOPPINGZZZZ!
the best christmas meal: tonight with dh at...i shall keep the place a surprise :)
the best christmas news: my dad is gonna upgrade me to an iphone next month before i fly :) off for lunch with my family then a fantastic day with dh!

i hope this fairytale-ish weekend never ends.
